TTRPG creations: 276/365: Sixth Floor Finger

Sixth Floor Finger

 Crawling out of the ink shadows long crooked fingers unfurl and curl clawing at exposed necks. The gaunt wicked beast slipping throughout the mossy stone hallways. Large knobbly feet pad with purpose along the chipped flagstones. A small silver bell chiming away the only indication that the beast of the sixth floor is coming.

Room 166: Beast Trigger

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep iron, metallic). Sounds (Still silence apart from a slight jingling). Touch (old yet dangerous). Exits (A door stands to the north while a secret door can be found behind a statue to the south and another to the west). Points of interest (The room is threaded with thin silver chains. Small bells have been placed upon the chain and will ring when touched. The beast will be summoned to the room if the bells are tripped).

A medium sized room with a single entrance and exist to the north. Pitch blackness that seems to slosh around any torchlight snuffing out the warmth.

Room 165: Key Room

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep iron). Sounds (Still silence). Touch (Old, forgotten, feeble, thin). Exits (A door stands to the north and west while twin doors stand to the south). Points of interest (The room is devoid of any furniture or structure apart from a single key which resides within the middle of the room).

A medium sized room with multiple entrances and exits. A single solid iron key sits in the middle of the room.

TTRPG creations: 275/365: Key Manic

Key Manic

 Constantly chipping away at bone and stone. Teasing and twisting hair, muscle and fibre into loops and curls. Combining the organic materials into a toothed shard. Creating a literal skeleton key. A victims worth hangs around the creeping crooks neck. Wide manic grin and deep set sunken sullen eyes as long knobbly dexterous fingers fiddle with locks. Crawling through windows and sneaking down hallways.

TTRPG creations: 274/365: Pot Wizard

Pot Wizard

 Stained brown clay hands clasp a new pot. Beard thick with dust creating a heavy crust. Spinning and whirling the old palms create crevasses, creases and crannies within the creation. Cracks are smoothed over as new curves are clawed to life. Different angles and speeds make long necks and small pot bellies. All manner of materials are placed within the pots. Runes are carved in and magic poured into the bowls.

Ceramic sigils containing random spells and manic enchantments. A madman sculptor leaving his mark upon the dungeons.

Room 164: Room of pots

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling. Filled with different sized pots). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep and traces of clay). Sounds (Still silence). Touch (Old, forgotten, feeble, thin). Exits (A door stands to the north and west while a hidden door stands behind a large pot). Points of interest (A hundred pots fill the room some containing treasure and three containing a potent spell trap. The inside of the trapped pots contains a rune of web. If disturbed the pot will explode casting the web spell within the surrounding area).

A medium sized room filled to the brim with pots of different sizes. Small, medium and large pots sit at different angles. Each pot is made of a different material and style.

TTRPG creations: 273/365: Green Sludge

Green Sludge

 Barely conscious bubbling and brewing away. Bile green slowly building in size and strength. Toxic pine fumes waltz with chemical compounds pushing through the room. Nostrils and eyes slow burn as the noxious fumes build and expand. 

The mammoth pile of sludge pulls itself up and out of the cracks. Seeping through the ground, sifting through the air

Room 163: Drain Pipe

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling. large metal grate located within the center of the room). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep and strong of pine). Sounds (A slow sucking and slurping). Touch (Old and forgotten, sticky and slimy). Exits (Two doors to the east and west with a single door to the north). Points of interest (The floors slant downwards collecting into a giant metal grate. A mammoth sized green slime lurks within the drain).

A medium sized room with slanting floors that angle towards a central drain and grate within the middle of the room. The cent of chemical backwash and pine is overpowering.

Room 162: Sliding Corridors

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling. Long moss covered corridors that move back and forth at random intervals). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty and dirt filled). Sounds (Critters crawl through dirt and debris). Touch (Old and forgotten, dirty and soiled). Exits (Two doors lead out of the room standing to the south and east). Points of interest (Long corridors are formed by randomly shifting stone blocks. Skeletons have been crushed up against the walls and under the tracks of the blocks).

A large room filled with constantly moving blocks. Long hallways are constantly formed as the blocks move back and forth.

TTRPG creations: 272/365: Fine Dust Skeleton

Fine Dust Skeleton

 Constantly crushed under crusty solid stone. Pushed through and pulverised into bone paste and powder. Lesser magic slowly infuses within the once skeleton. Remaking itself and bringing the form together a shaky outline against the moss stone backdrop. Wavering within the wind, sword slashes swing harmlessly through it.

Room 161: Massive Cave in

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty and dirt filled). Sounds (Critters crawl through dirt and debris). Touch (Old and forgotten, dirty and soiled). Exits (A single door leading in and out of the room stands to the south). Points of interest (This room has been destroyed long ago due to a cave in. Nothing stands but gloom and dirt).

A large room nearly filled with dirt from a massive cave in. Gloom, dirt and dust is all that remains within this room.

Soil Golem

 Clay covered claws rake rows through flimsy frail flesh. Shale and loam mixed with rock and stone lurks under massive boulders. The dusty dirt tumbles down speck by speck, grating together and gathering as one. The lumbering lurker lurches to life.

Mobilising Moss

 Livid lime green coats solid stone surfaces. A green, furry carpet that creeps along alabaster skin. It burrows deep into the artwork taking hold from within. With slow movements the grooves come to life gripping weapons. The silent stone statues awake from centuries of slumber. With creaking joints and marsh like movements the statues begin to march.

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep and musty). Sounds (Occasional drips from moisture build up). Touch (Old and forgotten, dirty and soiled). Exits (A single door leading in and out of the room stands to the west). Points of interest (The twenty foot room is filled with different statues of all kinds. Secret compartments have been strewn around throughout the statues).

A twenty foot room filled with statues. Mold and moss has begun to grow over many of them covering the surfaces with a lime green sheen.

TTRPG creations: 269/365: Progenitor Rat

Progenitor Rat

Wet whiskers and fetid fur. Yellow chipped canines clacking and chattering. Muzzle mauling on marrow and bone melting away cold carbon. Stuffing themselves full on the foul feast the rat begins to twitch and spasm. A fountain of gore explodes as the body splits in two. Bisected the rat flops around on the ground like a fish on a hook. Both halfs start to expand growing extra limbs and regenerating lost tissue forming a living twin from the once rat. 

The pair eye the body hungrily delving into open cavities.

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty, dank and dirt). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting and crumbling from cave-ins). Touch (Old and forgotten, dirty and soiled). Exits (Rotten doors stand to the west and a single stone door stands to the east). Points of interest (Cave-ins have closed off most of the room, dust motes float throughout the air).

A destroyed room. Multiple cave-ins have crippled the ceiling causing dirt to avalanche outwards. Two old rotten stand to the west.

TTRPG creations: 268/365: She'ren Laoren

She'ren Laoren

 Multi hued scales twist around the cloaked figure. Hooked fingers fold and extend, flowing out along the ground writhing and shifting. Eyes become lidless and the caster no longer fears the dark. Skin slowly sheds off them only to be replaced by supple snake membrane. 

A priest of the cult, a wizard of the snake.

TTRPG creations: 267/365: She'ren

She'ren

 Long hooked teeth. Burnished bronze scales. Jagged, chipped claws. Yellow, narrowed eyes. Ancient and evil, long forgotten below the lands of Vitlanda. The largest supplier of poisons throughout the old land. Every assassin or murderer has sampled the wares of Sheren.

Slowly slipping into shadows. Scales slither and swish along stone. Cloudy or clear coating blades plunge into backs.

Room 158: Altar Room

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty, dank and burnt incense). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the east and north west). Points of interest (An intricate altar stands to the south. A statue of a coiled serpent devouring a hand stands behind it. A secret cult stash has been left underneath a massive twenty foot stone slab at the northern point of the room).

A large stone room with a massive stone altar stands to the south of this room. Behind it is an intricately carved statue depicting a giant serpent devouring a hand.

Room 157: Trade Call

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black. A single torch blazes above the eastern door). Smell (Old, deep, musty). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, hushed whispers from the north. The eastern door squeals when opened). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the north, east and west. The east and west doors have started to rot. The northern door looks to have been reinforced). Points of interest (A northern hallway leads to a reinforced door. A stone blocked has been placed to the side of the hallway against the wall.).

A mostly empty room save for the large stone block pressed up against the northern wall. A hallway leads up to the north with a reinforced iron and wooden door.

TTRPG creations: 266/365: Stone Cobra

Stone Cobra

 Solid, slow, cold and grey. Scales turned to hardened stone as it settles into an extended hibernation. Row upon row of slate slithering scales indistinguishable to the surrounding stone. As the human hand approaches the eyelid flicks.

The mouth creaks open a crack and long fangs slip out of stony sheathes. Clear venom runs rapidly down pooling along the stones. It slowly brings the needle tips over the hand before punching into the soft flesh.

TTRPG creations: 265/365: Under Merchant

Under Merchant

 Old and ruined much like the surrounding environment. So deep that escape is seemingly impossible, yet heading downwards is a death wish. Knobbly hands make quick work of wooden scrap creating a makeshift outpost in the hellish environment.

All matter of adventurer and monster flotsam rises towards the surface. The old hob reaches down and scoops it up. Buffing, fixing and reselling anything worth selling. Cut throat deals in the guts of the land.

Room 156: Snake Trap

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty, dank and oddly spoiled cucumbers). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, the sandpaper on parchment). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the north and west. Both doors have clear signs of rot and decay). Points of interest (Flag stone floors cover the ground. Holes are placed in the ceiling above the flagstones. Some of the flagstones when pressed down will open the hole dropped cobras upon the ground. Two of the holes have thumb sized gems placed within them).

The large stone room with an intricate floor of flagstones. Holes have been carved into the room sporadically throughout. A door stands to the south west.

Room 155: Deep Trader

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Lit by lanterns). Smell (Old, deep, cleaned out, slight smell of oil and incense). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, crackling of lanterns). Touch (semi restored, lived in). Exits (Old wooden doors stand to the south west and north east corners of the room). Points of interest (A make shift trading post made with scavenged wooden parts. Wooden barricades form an L shape within the room moving the party towards a front desk. Prices and a menu have been carved into the wooden board. Four guards stand at the ready).

The door squeals open to reveal a makeshift traders post. Wooden barricades have been hastily set up and cross bows point down at the party. A heavily covered figure stands behind the desk eyes narrowed.

Room 154: Secret Passageway

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty and dank. Noxious fumes). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, the scitter of vermin). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the south and west. Both doors have clear signs of rot and decay). Points of interest (A noxious cloud is clearly visible as it distorts the air. While looking potentially deadly it is harmless).

The secret door unlocks and swings open to reveal a long lost passage. The chattering of vermin is constant within this room as is the sound of flowing air. The passageway is distorted as some kind of gas violates the air.


Dungeon23 - 153/365. Room 153: Study Room Remains

 



Room 153: Study Room Remains

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep and clean). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, gurgling from drains located within the floor). Touch (Surfaces clean of any dust or debris). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the north and south. The north door looks to have some sort of acidic damage melt away at the wood). Points of interest (Several metal desks stand against the walls. Three drains runs along the middle of the room. A hidden door is located behind one of the metal desks in the south west corner. A small keyhole can be opened by finding the key located within the central drain).

What once was a large study, preparation or experimentation room. Metal desks sit up against the walls clean of any debris. Three drains are located running the length of the room. A door stands to the south east with slight signs of acidic damage.


TTRPG creations: 264/365: Sentient Cloud

Sentient Cloud

 Swirling and shimmering, shaping itself to any space. It whirls through the air collecting in cracks and crevices. Mostly harmless but a fond lover of havoc. Free flow flying past fires only to extinguish them. Pushing puffs of air up noses when stealth is the only option. Pushing down furniture during fights. A malevolent and malicious maelstrom.

TTRPG creations: 263/365: Bio cube

Bio cube

 Dredged up from the lower depths. Clear non cloudy gelatinous goo grows along filthy surfaces. Feeding on fungal intruders and feral beasts alike it continues to spread. Slowly eating away and harvesting everything in sight. 

The biocube will develop aspects from any sentient being swallowed. The cunning that comes from small rodents. The unmatched insanity from humanity. The biocube swallows and becomes all.

Room 152: Acidic Cube

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Oddly Clean). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, constant dripping). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (An old sodden swollen oak doors stands to the south). Points of interest (The room is currently engulfed by a massive acidic cube, two skeletons and the treasures they had looks to be floating around within the room but are actually being digested).

The door opens to an odd sight, twin skeletons slowly floating throughout the room. the gleam of gold and gems can be seen swirling around the skeletons as well. A door stands to the south and looks to have been partly burnt or melted away.

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty and dank. Rank water). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, constant dripping from the walls and the bubbling from a fountain). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the north and east. The east door looks to have some sort of acidic damage melt away at the wood). Points of interest (A fountain stands within the middle of the room bubbling up black liquid. The corpse of an adventurer lays upon the west wall, face deep purple with scratch marks up the throat).

A small seeping room with the constant sound of burbling and bubbling. An old moss and mold covered tarnished fountain stands within the middle of the room with black liquid spluttering out of the top. The corpse of an adventurer rests upon the west wall, face deep purple and claw marks upon the neck.

Swollen oak doors stand to the north and east.

Room 150: Sixth Floor

Old Moss Stone Walls (Old stone moss walls, floors and ceiling). Lightning (Deep thick black). Smell (Old, deep, musty and dank). Sounds (Creaks from the stones shifting, constant dripping). Touch (Old and forgotten). Exits (Old sodden swollen oak doors stand to the north, south and west). Points of interest (What looks to be the remains of a small camp can be found on the floor. The northern door has moss covering the handle, the southern door handle is clear of moss. A black mold has spread up the western door).

The elevator drops into the sixth floor, a damp dismal place. Seeping moss covered stone walls nearly buckling under the weight of Vitlandas body and the dank water. Swollen oak doors stand to the north, south and west.

TTRPG creations: 262/365: Bone Wizard

Bone Wizard

Bone Wizard Rotten robes cover a frail frame. Parchment thin skin covers knobbly hands that grasp the old grooved staff. A spread eagle split grin curls up from underneath the hole filled hood. A wave from the bleached white fingers spreads rot and black mist. The staff raises up and move undead warriors arise.

TTRPG creations: 261/365: Blazing Warlord

Blazing Warlord

 Of the brutal bony bandits to arise a handful are more hazardous than the norm. In life they came from every corner of Vitlanda. Giant cadavers from the frozen north animal skin hoods still covering rotten beards. Bandaged burdened creeps who crept around the warm deserts of the east. Jeweled bedecked bones of the south seas, rusty cursed cutlasses at the ready. And the steppe men of the west, rotten limbs pulling back old bows.

All are summoned by the call of the deep.

TTRPG creations: 260/365: Ancient Bones

Ancient Bones

Old bones snap and pop to life. Knuckles flex and creak, dust sifts between rib cages. Twin blue flames blaze like miniatures moons, azure pinpricks flashing into life. The catacombs blink into life, crypts and coffins are slowly emptied as the former inhabitants take up arms against the intruders.

An unholy scream pulls itself from hundreds of lungless ribcages. Former victims are left upon the ground, desiccated husks.

TTRPG creations: 366/730: Mok'Pok

Pink and purple skin pulsates in patterns. Large eyes leer in loops, full figure eights. Unblinking eye contact draws the victim in. A timid...
