Mollusk Men
Circle dome cities deep under the waves. Ancient buildings created when the world was first born. A race older than time whose origins spawned from the stars. Elder beings drifted through the infinite, night black arms emerged from star speckled shells. Spindly, horrid, long limbs pulled themselves through the galaxy using stars and planets as one would climb a cliff face. They dug into thousands of worlds corrupting them from the core.
Endless circle cities built in honour stretched as far as the eyes could see. Swirling Fibonacci spirals in pillars pulling out of the ground towards the stars. Altars in which races were slaughtered in names that make the sky crack and the moon weep tears. Beings whose very presence was an affront to reality, bending, warping and tearing the essence of life around them.
As man evolved so did the concept of higher religion. Mans god Yigg empowered with the belief of millions was able to cast down the star born. With every galaxy spawn crucified Yigg would only grow in power. Suddenly they found themselves pushed out. They buried themselves deep within the worlds escaping the endless eradication.
All that remains are the Mollusk men, a remnant of the unholy gods spawned with humans. They toil deep within the earths and seas of worlds, capturing mortals in order to sacrifice to endless gods.
