Most of the body converted to moisture mushrooms. The body infected and irreversibly part fungi. A radical experiment that has creature a new creature. A twin life of both parasite and parent. The druids watch over the beast confining and taking every precaution.
Heat radiating crystals blind and boil the creature. The mighty beast is in an eternal loop of drying, growing and rehydrating itself. The anger and blood shed of the ogre kept in check. The alien intelligence to spread and infect of the fungi keeps it in check.
