Rapid Iguana

 Large lizard mouth lays open. Long lizard legs leap forward. Curved sword like teeth snap and twist at all around. Unblinking umber eyes slowly, lazily blink. Always shuffling, moving, itching and scratching. Wriggling and pushing they twist out of their skin, discarded scales left over.

The troglobilis tribes keep these giant lizards as hunting pack animals. The venom found within can bring even the staunchest of creatures down with a handful of bites. The discarded scales have numerous uses. Leather armour is often reinforced with gleaming scales. Teeth are added to fist weapons or clubs. The poison is often collected for later use.

The tribes priests will also use these scales ground up within rituals. Only the purest of scales are collected and even then only from the purest specimens.
