Gem Bed
Decades of continuous crystal growth covers the caverns. Minerals spread in manic patterns like looping ley lines. A thick creeping carpet that slowly surrounds and smothers all within the way. A caustic cavern cancer that corrodes and collapses.
Every colour on the spectrum crawls forward. A slow eternal march that mulches every molecule.
