Obsidian Billed Platypus
Sharpened face shovel shoves aside rock and cuts through the deep minerals. Onyx coloured and highly glossy it carves out the under waterways. A jet black silky coat covers the cave waterway dwelling beast. The creature solid, stocky and surprisingly peaceful until one encroaches upon its territory.
Valued by collectors, constructors and miners for both bill and coat. When pushed to fight back it quickly overpowers most would be poachers and buries the long sharp shovel of a bill into the body.
