Room 139: Cocoon Cacophony
Natural Geode Walls (Caves walls with spinning spiral geodes, roof 80' and floor). Lightning
(The Walls have been stripped of minerals and gems). Smell
(Deep, distant, fungal, floral and off. Something within this level throws the senses out of
alignment. The smell of ancient old parchment lingers in the air). Sounds
(The tapping can be heard all around in the level, like small hammers
slowly tolling on cymbals. Alien cries and odd shrieks pierce the air
and clicking from underneath starts to grow louder. Flitting flaps can be heard throughout this part of the cavern). Touch
(The walls are warped and rigid, either running like melted wax or
solid like steel. Spongy silk covers most of the walls and dust slowly settles onto everything within this room). Creatures (The air is thick with hand sized emerald, ruby and sapphire coloured butterflies). Exits
(To the north is the central platform which houses the rope ladder back
up. Stairs move downwards to the north and south and east.
A giant hatchery for gem coloured butterflies. The air and ground is thick with a mineral dust that sticks to clothes, hair and skin.
