Grickt
A wooly horror brute, eight long limbs lash in the darkness. Powerful searchlight eyes scan the cave surroundings. Skillfully scuttling up walls and burrowing deep into roofs. A horrific flower blooming the Grickt unravels itself. Metre long hair strands hang from mine shaft ceilings. Each fibre filled with potent poison.Gently rocking and swaying the hair imitates cave moss as it moves. Insects, birds and mammals all fall prey as they pass through. The hair strands are covered in inch long needles that pump a burning venom. As the victim twitches they are yanked upwards into the hair net.
Hollow hair pulls upwards and covers the creature in an embrace. Follicles stab in and out in rapid succession. Titanic twin pincers crush down on the neck splitting the spine.
